I’m no stranger to parties. In fact, I’ve been known to thrown a few of them myself. As I’ve gotten older, however, my priorities at such gatherings have appropriately evolved from PBR and bong rips to good music, good food, and good people.
Which is why I’m particularly excited for the Beats N’ Eats food and music event at the Fillmore this Monday, September 19th.
Robert Irvine (from The Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible) will be hosting the “upscale, seated dining and music experience” with a 7-course family styled meal prepped by seven celebrity chefs like Marc Vetri, Kevin Sbraga, Buddy Valastro, and the man himself, Masaharu Morimoto.
You can get your tickets to the event here.
Proceeds from the event will benefit our friends over at Philabundance and The Philadelphia Music Alliance.
And if the all-star list of celebrity chefs preparing the main course wasn’t enough, Georgeann Leaming (Season 19 winner of The Food Network’s Chopped) and the rest of the Samwich crew will be serving appetizers in the VIP section.
The Beats N’ Eats Food and Music event starts at 6 PM on Monday, September 19th at the Fillmore music and arts venue in Fishtown. Tickets and general info can be found here.
